Watase Yuu is the creator of Fushigi Yugi, she was born on March 5 in a town near Osaka, and she was raised there before moving to Tokyo to follow the dream of creating manga. Fushigi Yugi was originally written in an 18 manga volumes (May 1992-July 1996), and then was adapted to the anime series in 52 episodes series and two OVA series.
