Houki was Hotohori's wife. Hotohori married her sometime between Miaka and the others leaving for Hokkan and them returning from Sairou. Upon the end of the tv episodes, she was pregnant with the next Emperor of Konan country, Boushin. When Miaka first sees Houki, she mistakes her for Nuriko and immediately hugs her. Gee, Hotohori married a Nuriko look-alike, wouldn't Nuriko be proud (or jealous)!
