Hotohori, the Emperor of Konan Country. He is the second Suzaku Seishi, and has the character "star" on his neck. He also falls in love with Miaka, but is forced to deal with the fact that she wants to be with Tamahome. While he is very kindhearted and noble, Hotohori is also incredibly vain. Nonetheless, he fights by Miaka's side and protects her for a good part of the series.
